Becki’s site focuses on travel with a social conscience. Reading like a hybrid between Lonely Planet and Vice News, her Borderlines section is our personal favourite for sparking the desire to ethically explore misunderstood places and learn more about them. Her post What is Responsible Travel? is by far the best resource we’ve seen to make sense of the medley of words that fall into this category: sustainable, eco, ethical, community-based, etc.
Breathe Dream Go
Perfect for: The Taj Mahal Dreamer
Written by Mariellen, this is the go-to site for anyone going to (or dreaming of going to) India. Her focus moving into 2017 is specifically on responsible and sustainable travel, wildlife, conservation, and authentic cultural experiences, so make sure to stay tuned for these posts in the future. Check out the tour she’s offering to India’s top tiger reserves this coming March and her insight on homestays in India for a taste of her writing style and a peek into Indian culture.

Perfect for: The Global Foodie
